April Joy Home Decors and Furniture started as April Joy Home Decors. It is a family company owned and managed by founder, Elma Marie G. Rafon. The business name is originated from the name of the owner’s first born, April Joy. April Joy Home Decors only sells home decors such as, chandeliers, jars, figurines, flower vases, lamps etc., in a small stall in Yabes South Paseo established in 1998. It branched out in San Fernando, year 2000 and broadened its services, providing not only decors but also furniture as well, then she thought that it would be best to sell both decors and furniture in one shop, deciding to cease South Paseo Branch and concentrate in San Fernando . The Owners Residence in Taboc, San Juan , La Union served as warehouse for the company’s stocks. The owners business views didn’t stop there, she established another branch in Bauang, La Union and Candon, Ilocos Sur the next year. Due to its widening market, the owner decided to put up a branch far south, Agoo in particular in order to supply customers beyond reach (Bauang). By the reason of space inefficiency, it re-opened Candon Branch last May 7, 2006. Then another branch were opened on October 25, 2010 located at Diversion Rd., Biday City of San Fernando served as showroom to accommodate more customers of April Joy. The company has serving 5 branches now at Ilocos Region and still in the process of widening to serve you better.
